The desire people have for brighter, whiter more beautiful teeth has brought a ton of different products into the marketplace. Nowadays, we have everything from whitening toothpastes, flosses, whitening strips and even paints. Now, while all these products do have some merit, they don't really offer a long term solution. Any whitening agents applied to the teeth by a strip or a paint is bound to wear off eventually. The Brite Smile Teeth Whitening program is different though. It's done in a dentist's office by a professional dentist. In this article, we'll look at the advantages and disadvantages to using this system.

Let's start with the good stuff. This program works - plain and simple. Regardless of why your teeth are stained, you can rest assured that the Bright Smile program will work for you. Further to this, it usually only takes one session! Compare this to other take home kits and you'll realize what a huge advantage this is. Who can take time out of their busy schedule to regularly go for teeth whitening sessions? Another thing I like about Brite Smile is that it's done by a professional. There is no way a person who hasn't gone through dental school could whiten teeth this well.

This program isn't perfect though. The biggest disadvantage it has is related to cost. In most countries, the Brite Smile Teeth Whitening program costs about $600. This money will more than likely have to come out of your own pocket as well. Most insurance companies don't cover cosmetic dentistry. Another thing I'd mention is that this procedure can not be done by just anyone. If you live in a rural area, chances are you'll have to travel in order to get the Brite Smile procedure done. This, of course, will up the cost even more.

All in all, though, I think this is worth it. Sure you have to pay quite a bit - but you only have to pay once!
